The environmental policy of our enterprises is based on the principles of the concept of a closed cycle - the creation of new facilities for deep processing of wood in order to improve the efficiency of forest resources and solve the problem of waste disposal. 96% of sawmill and wood processing byproducts are used and disposed of at our plants. The existing production technology makes full use of raw materials and ensures high economic efficiency, thus confirming our environmental responsibility.

The enterprises of the group of companies have documented that the quality management system in the area of supply chain is fully compliant with the accepted standards, namely the international certificate ISO 38200:2018.

Reforestation is also one of our priorities. Creating, not just consuming, is our mission. The introduction of modern technologies in logging makes it possible to increase its volume, which is the most successful solution to the problem of forest renewal and keeping the forest fund healthy. Moreover, we plant about 1 million spruce seedlings every year, thus contributing to the overall goal of forest conservation.

The production of wood-based panels in one way or another entails a negative impact on the environment. NORDECO manufacturing facilities have developed a system of measures to prevent and reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. The main sources of wood dust emissions are equipped with dust and gas cleaning devices, which are subject to annual replacement for efficiency. There are also no discharges to water bodies, and all effluents are sent to the city's wastewater treatment plant.

The use of the latest developments in the production of resin for chipboard has significantly reduced the emission of pollutants and increased the environmental friendliness of products while maintaining high physical and mechanical properties. NORDECO furniture boards meet Russian and international standards and have the appropriate certification. We produce products with reduced content of formaldehyde according to standards that ensure compliance with leading international standards in the field of environmental safety.
